Lakehouse Retreat

Perched above Lake Travis, this weekend retreat needed to feel effortless and calming, a true escape from the city. We built the palette around the view: soft blues, weathered whites, and warm wood tones that mirror the lake and surrounding limestone cliffs. Oversized linen sofas invite afternoon naps, while a collection of vintage landscape paintings (sourced from estate sales across the Hill Country) ties the interior to its setting. The screened porch, furnished with vintage rattan and thick cotton cushions, has become the heart of the home.
